“The name Storry comes from the elements which drive this brand; the stork (through many cultures the stork is seen as positive, lucky, nurturing and representing the bonds of the family and of course, life and birth), your story, my history and King Orry of the Isle of Man (where our brand resides), who legend say was a wise and powerful ruler. We chose to give Storry a strong name because of what the brand represents.

I qualified as a Midwife in 2006, and have worked in many different aspects of Midwifery care. I currently run ScanSanctuary, a private pregnancy scan clinic in the Isle of Man, and do some work at our local hospital.

“As a Midwife Sonographer I meet wonderful people all the time. Each one of you has a different story. Storry was born from my passion to support women and families. A passion which has fuelled my whole career and continues to drive me. I have walked beside, and held the hands of many through their unique journey.  Journeys of strength, vulnerability, empowerment, transformation, happiness, sadness, fear, challenge, courage, commitment, pain, joy, and change. I designed this jewellery to be a symbol of your personal experience; to honour and respect your journey. In tribute to the stories of all parents, I have created these unique keepsakes which can live on you forever.”

I have always been driven to help and support others; whenever I come across someone in need, I feel a pull to get involved and ensure that they get the care and compassion that they deserve.

It humbles me to receive words of kindness and appreciation from people that I have looked after and I feel very honoured to be part of such vulnerable and special journeys.

My life has mainly revolved around my work, however I still manage time for other things that I enjoy including the countryside, and my dogs and horses. I love going back to my roots in Scotland and catching up with family and old friends.

I have a great love for clothes and jewellery and for me quality is very important, hence my desire to create keepsake jewellery that is stylish and simple but practical enough to be worn everyday.

My vision for Storry is that I can combine my loves to bring support, comfort and joy to others, and provide quality products. At the heart of the brand there is a focus on sustainability and morals, whilst supporting relevant charities.

Our jewellery is designed in the Isle of Man and handmade in UK, using solid silver and gold.
